Re: Post what you've baked for the holidays

ok...here goes

Devil's food cookies with peanut butter chips- a la Julz

Easy Lemon cookies (except I used yellow cake and the zest from a tangerine instead of lemon cake) a la Julz

batch of coconut cranberry macaroons - posted by cjb88, day 9 of the 12 days of cookies

another variation of macaroons, used zest of tangerine instead of orange and added mini chocolate chips

then made a batch with no fruit, just mini chocolate chips

toll house cookies with chocolate chips and craisins

toll house cookies with both white chocolate and semi-sweet chips

homemade rocky road chocolate (chocolate with peanuts and marshmellows in it)

thanks to julz and cjb88 for the great recipes

Re: Post what you've baked for the holidays

My Mom does an insane amount of baking, so she gives me cookies for dessert.

But I did make for Christmas Day:

Cheesecake w/ raspberry swirl & a graham cracker crust.

Hazelnut & Chocolate chip pie (using the pecan pie recipe) with a homemade crust

Re: Post what you've baked for the holidays

so far the only thing I've made is chocolate crescent cookies...

they are chocolate cookies that you roll into the shape of a moon and shake around in some powdered sugar after baking.

i am planning on making sugar cookies and PB cookies tonight.
