Best Buy was the place to be today as each store had at least 10 panosonic hdtv

They actually only had 5 of the 42"... and i think you had to start waiting outside at 11pm last night- so i dont think it was really the place to be Chat Icon

PC Richards, BJs.... less popular places i think were a bigger score (IMO- just because i canNOT deal with crowds).

i thought their paper said they were at least getting 10 per store...oh well

yeah, there were alot of good deals this year, imo

yup each store got 10, I went to 2 of them today SOLD OUT!Chat Icon

I was at Walmart at 4 am. I don't think it was worth it at all and would not bother again.

My friend did get a 32" LCD for $598 and the personal DVD player for $49.

I got moon shoes for my nieces for $30 ($10 cheaper than regular price), a barbie for $5, a Cabbage Patch kid for $10, board games for $8 and a remote control truck for $12 as well as a lot of other toys.

After breakfast, I got to Target at 9 and the TV/DVD player I wanted there was sold out. So was the toaster oven I wanted to buyChat Icon

I eventually ended up at Best Buy (the closest store to my house) and got an Insignia (Best Buy brand) 20" Flat Screen LCD TV/DVD player that can be wall-mounted for $499. I also an Oster Convection Toaster Oven for $69, which is the price it was advertised at Macy's and Target.

I now feel jet-lagged, but I have finished my Christmas shoppingChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

DH got a bunch of tools at Ace - they all were on sale and then have rebates - a lot of the smaller tools/gadgets are $1.99 after rebate. He got about $90 worth of rebates.

I think they could be. They have Cabbage Patch Babies now too. I got this one for DH's niece and she is just under 1. I think they are pretty good for all ages because they are so soft.

We got TONS of stuff at Kohl's!!!! They had such great deals

ditto!!!
AND we weren't there early either - maybe 10 or 11ish.

I got gold/diamond earrings for $36 and change
2 womens sweaters, a dressy top for me to wear on Christmas eve, a dressy top for FMIL, and sweater for FIL, an ornament, and a game for $75

and now I have $20 in Kohl's cash to use next week! I'm going to pick up some Christmas stuff - stockings for us, etc.

Then we hit Old Navy - got 2 pairs of mens flat front pants, a button down the front shirt, and a long-sleeved mens thermal for $46 and change

Famous Footwear - (for Rich)
a pair of $100 adidas sneakers
and $80 Timberland oxfords
.....FOR $90 Chat Icon

We were out for almost 5 hours, but we did well!

The only thing I couldn't get was Wii, for my brother.

My stepmother got a 55'' flat screen plasma (Panasonic?) at PC Richards yesterday for $1400 (regularly $2400), this was with rebates but she also knows the manager, it's amazing how much they can go down on prices, we all get ripped off, it pays to know someone!!!Chat Icon
