Pottery barn - $$ stuff, wonderful service!!!

I just wanted to share my latest experience with Pottery Barn Kids...

DS received the "My First Table & Chairs" set for his bday from his godparents. When taking the items out of the box they were damaged so PB sent a new order - damaged AGAIN. After playing this game about 3 times and receiving scratched/dented items I requested to speak with a supervisor. She was very concerned as to why all these items were coming damaged and did some research. Turns out they were not finished properly and were packed poorly. I received my final replacement last week and I was very reluctant to even open the boxes to have to once again re-wrap everything. Well the final time was a CHARM. The items were perfect!

When I called to schedule a pick-up of the previous bad item i had received she appologized profusely for all the issues we have had and they are sending us a $100 merch credit for all the hassles!!! I was shocked! I have never had a retailer compensate me for my trouble when receiving damaged items.

Although their furniture is $$ - they definitely stand behing their products and respect the time and $ of the customer.

Just wanted to share - always nice to hear a happy ending!

Good to hear, I just ordered a Buffet from them and it was not cheap, but I loved it

I have a couple of Pottery Barn dressers. They were $$$, but the only ones we could agree on. Their customer service is excellent and when we received a damaged piece, they took it back and re-delivered within 2 weeks.
