Pottery Barn Backpacks
Anyone have it for their toddlers? DO they last? Did you get the mini or the small for your toddler? And how old is your toddler?
My dd is 2 & 34 in tall. I was leaning more towards the small because I would like it to last for a few years...
Do they generally (not just pb) last for a few years or is this something I have to get every year?
Shes been growing quickly height wise...

Re: Pottery Barn Backpacks
I am getting the small for my kindergartener and he is 44". I watched the video and I think it would be pretty big for a 2 year old. I think the mini would be better so that she can carry it. We had a skip hop monkey at that age.
I bought a backpack for my DS (not Pottery Barn) and it lasted for 2 years of preschool. Its still in ok shape but probably too babyish now.

Re: Pottery Barn Backpacks
my son was about that age and size last year when he started nursery school. I got him one on Amazon. Crocodile Creek... SO cute, and PERFECT! small enough that he could wear it, but still big enough to actually hold a full-sized folder without having to bend it. it held up great through the last school year, and I'm planning on having him use it again- and probably for kindergarten, too.... you can check out the reviews on there, too- all pretty good! Just go to amazon and search "Crocodile Creek Backpacks

Re: Pottery Barn Backpacks
My DD used the pbk small backpack last year in her 2s program. It was big but her school sent home a folder weekly with paperwork and I didnt think the mini would fit it. DD still uses it for camp this summer and loves it. So far has held up very well. I even got her another one last year when the sale was ridic. My neice uses the mini for daycare at 18 months. Its cute but not going to last very long size-wise.

Re: Pottery Barn Backpacks
I would get the small, especially if you plan to use it again next year. The mini is very tiny. My older dc had the mini for nursery and nothing fit in it, not even a folder. I got dc #2 the small for nursery and it is a perfect side- dc is 38" tall and it does not look too big. I got dc#1 the large for kindergarten based on the recommendations our school specified for backpack sizes.
