Pottery Barn outlet sale- we bought a dining room table $399
Here are pictures of the table we bought...
they were having a sale at the outlet... all dining room tables for $399. We got ours brand new in the box and since we had a coupon and gift cards... we paid $100. Now we just need chairs! 
and i'm so excited because it has removable leafs (sp??) so it extends to 109 inches.

is it black?
I got great black chairs at linens and thing- for $60 each
( ok for $30 each b/c the girl didn't realize there were 2 in the box- and I had so many coupons I didn't notice either)

Yeah i know the exact chairs you're talking about! I really like them.  however my husband doesn't like them. He doesn't like the X on the back of the chair.

What if you had the back of the chair slipcovered -- then they'd almost look like the PB chairs

There's one in the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead..it is sorta in an area by itself, away from the main 2 sections.

yes they carry the same stuff as in the catalog, online. Not all of it... but a good percentage of it.
