Potty Trained at school, but not at home???

Ok so DS is completely potty trained at school but at home he doesn't always ask to go to the bathroom and often poopies in his pants. I am not sure what to do about this since I know he asks to go to the bathroom at school but I don't know why he won't at home.

I am going out tonight to buy a bunch more potty prizes since I want him to ask at home but otherwise I don't know what to do. He got a toy 2 weeks ago for going poopy on the potty and I took it and put it up high because he stopped going on the potty at home, was this too harsh? I told him he could get it back tomorrow if he goes poopy on the potty instead of in his pants.

I'd watch the clock, and make him sit if he hasn't been on the potty on his own if enough time has passed. Make it fun. Read him special books while he sits and do a silly dance if he makes anything in the potty. (I'm a big fan of the Dora "We did it" dance) The rewards don't need to be objects.

He does go if we make him, but he won't say he has to go, that is the problem. I can make him go all day long but the problem is that he won't tell me he needs to go, which can lead to accidents.

Also wanted to add, that m&ms worked at first but now he doesn't care about them anymore.
