Potty training - advice needed

Just a quick potty training question. I know it has been asked before. Sara has been pretty consistant with the potty at home. I have to do errands do I put her in panties and hope for the best? She aleady made poopie in the potty today.

Re: Potty training

Put her in panties and carry a change of clothes and a few underwear with you to run errands. Bring a towel and lay it on her car seat (just the part where she sits) in case she has an accident. I also suggest you put a dress on her so you can pull it up before putting her in the seat (that way she only gets her undies wet). Good luck!

Re: Potty training

In my experience (not just as a mom, but as a daycare provider, as well as a friend to potty training moms) it is always best NOT to put them back in diapers, pull-ups or whatever. It can send the wrong message and confuse them about when they can and can't go in their pants. Bring plenty of extra clothes and try to keep the errands short or stop at numerous bathrooms along your route........just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions Chat Icon
