Potty Training - When did you take off the diaper at night?

My daughter has been fully potty trained since about 2 years old during the day - but at night I still put a diaper on her and she wakes up with a really wet diaper.

Occasionlly I have forgotten to put a diaper on her at night and she doesn't get up during the night - she will sleep with her blankie and pjs soaked without a problem!

She will be 3 in Feb.

Someone told me that I should stop putting a diaper on her at night and that she would eventually wake up at night when she wets the bed and therefore learn to hold or call me during the night if she has to do pee pee.

How old was your child when they stopped wearing diapers at night ?
How did you go about doing so?

I don't see the point of putting underwear on them if they're not waking up dry. It's just going to frustrate everyone.

DD has been potty trained since March and only now am I considering no more pull ups at night because for about a month she wakes up dry and on occasion will wake up during the night and call to go to the bathroom.

I'm all about letting them do things in their own time. Less stress for everyone that way.
