Re: POTTY TRAINING HELL!!!
She's probably not ready. I know my younger DD is the same age as yours--she was 2 in May. I have barely been trying because she's simply not interested. We've shown her the the Elmo potty training DVD and she loves it; she sees me and her little sister using the bathroom constantly; we talk about the underwear she'll get and nothing...
I remember my older DD finally wanted to do it at 2 years 9 mos. When she was ready, she was ready and it took literally days--even though I started trying right when she turned 2.
They're still very little...don't feel pressured this soon!

Don't force her!!! DS is not interested either. I try to get him to sit on his truck potty...sometimes he will sometimes he won't. Eventually she'll let you know.

Re: POTTY TRAINING HELL!!!
With DD#1 I tried to make her potty train on my schedule at 2 and 1/2 and it was a nightmare. She wound up not pooping for 5 days and needing an enema. It was so bad. My ped said to wait. Well 8 weeks later she told me she was not going to wear diapers anymore and was totally potty trained the next day, never had an accident. Not even in bed. She just needed to be ready and do it under her own terms.
