Is it true that boys generally take longer than girls to be trained? I'm asking for my sister who has a 2+ year old (quickly qpproaching 3) son, who KNOWS when he has to go, but will only use the potty on certain occassions or for certain people (unfortunately, his mother isn't one of them). He'll announce as soon as he's finished, or demand a diaper change even if he doesn't need one, but just has an aversion to the potty. Anyone ever seen this? TIA!!
