Potty Training...Is anyone else getting this...

DD is so resistant to the idea. She is so ready though. I can get her to do #2 on the potty but when I ask her is she wants to go pee-pees on the potty...She says, "No thank you Mommy." I don't want to force her but she is very positive that she doesn't want to do it.

I got that for awhile. She would say "no thanks".
I didn't want to make an issue of it because I thought then she would never go.
One day I just put underpants on, and that was it, she was done.

When Ava started to refuse to use the potty, but I knew she was ready, I just took her out of diapers and put her in underwear. She had a couple of accidents and that's all it really took for her to get it.

You could try using potty treats. My son went through a phase where out of nowhere he became resistant to using the potty. I started giving him one M&M as a potty treat after he would go on the potty and he got over that phase very quickly!
