Pray for Little Johnny: UPDATE
UPDATE: Just wanted to share the good news. Johnny made a full recovery. He is the cutest little boy and is about 11 weeks old now. Now that he is healthy we need to find him a permanent home. Please pass on to anyone you may know who would be interested. He had a horrible start at life - I want to find him a wonderful home to make up for it. Thanks!!!!!!
My next door neighbor knocked on my door this afternoon to tell us they found a little kitten in a box by their driveway. Turns out the neighborhood kids found him in a mud puddle under a car on our block and put in the box hoping someone would rescue him.
Poor little thing was so tiny and barely moving. It was FILTHY and wet. Poor thing had dirt all in its mouth and everywhere. We wrapped it in a blanket and rushed it to the vet.
Turns out the cat was incredibly dehydrated, hypoglycemic (his sugar was only 17, and normal is 80-120), he was infested with fleas, hypothermic to the point where they couldn't get a temp on him. Only good thing is he is not Leukemia positive.
The vets are trying to save him. They kept him in a incubator and are running IV fluids.
Please pray for this little guy. We are going to do whatever it takes to save him. We will nurse him back to health and try to find him a home.
Poor little guy.

I just went to see Johnny and he is hanging in there. He is still in an incubator and getting IV fluids. Please keep in him your thoughts.
He was so close to dying and I want him to get a second chance at life.

our Yorkie was in ICU for 5 days the first week we got him. he had a terrible accident, but he is ok now. he was VERY close to death (they were talking to me about putting him down)...so I know how heartbreaking it can be. I hope Johnny pulls through -miracles do happen...my Yorkie showed me that

Day 2 at the vet and Johnny is fighting hard. He is still on IV fluids and under an incubator. He is not eating on his own yet; this is the vet's biggest concern. Good thing is that he is maintaining his temp.
I am going to see him tomorrow and will try to take pictures.

yay Johnny!!! Joey (our Yorkie) wouldn't eat either when he had his accident, so we had to feed him through a tube for a few weeks, but he made a full recovery!

I know...it was like my son was in the hospital. I was a wreck. Long story short...DH was playing with him 4 days after we got him and Joey ran after him and got caught under DH's feet...Joey was only 2 lbs at the time, but he pulled through. Thank god. ♥

as you know i missed this originally, but i just wanted to tell you what an amzing person you are and how great to hear he has made a full recovery.
he is absolutely gorgeous too btw.
