Prayers
Today at my level 2 they found a potential abnormality with my baby boy. It is not genetic and can just "happen" is what I was told. The only sure way to tell if my baby has the abnormality is an amino. Which I am not comfortable doing. They are doing a repeat sono in two weeks to take new scans. I am an absolute wreck. Google is the devil and I don't want anyone to know until I find out if it is a real possibility. He looks so perfect... I don't understand. I need prayers for my little guy : (

I hope everything turns out okay. They have to tell you of there is a chance of anything. They need to cover themselves so even if is the slightest possibility they will tell you. We had something pointed out to us and had to do more BW and see a genetic counselor. The issue cleared itself up a few weeks later. Prayers sent

Thank you ladies. Now I had to go to the ER because I got a uti waiting three hours yesterday with no pants on for the dr to read the results. I am 19 weeks 6 days and I can't go to labor and delivery till 20 weeks. So instead I am in the ER with sick people pregnant. I called my dr for a prescription and this is what I get.

Sending many prayers for your LO. Hope you feel better too. Did you see if an urgent care would be willing to give you a rx? Not that they aren't filled with sick people but it may be a little faster. I would call your gp and your OB if you didn't try both too.

If you want any personal experience on a amnio let me know. I had one with ds and am happy to answer any questions. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and is actually very safe these days.
