Prayers for my MIL's dog UPDATE!
My MIL's dog is not doing to well, and they are taking him for a sonogram today.
He is a white westie and he will be 18 on sept 30th...hes their boy, and it is killing me to see them so upset.
He is having problems peeing, and its dripping out of him, and hes wetting the bed. they think it could be a mass on his bladder.
I am praying that its just an infection and he can get better, he is 18 but she made a deal with him when he was a puppy that he had to live til 20...hes really hanging on!
UPDATE:
They did a sonogram and there is a tumor on his bladder, he is to old to operate and its so intertwined it would be impossible to get it out.
There is some hope, there is a medicine that can possibly shrink the tumor, it starts working right away and they will know in 3 days if its shrinking.
If it doesnt work it could prohibit him from peeing, and that can be very very bad.
We are hoping the meds work and shrinks it, he is still active and happy and isnt showing signs of being sick.
They said if the meds work he can live another 6 months to a year!!
