My DH's brother's wife Sarah has Lupus and RA.. her health has been deteriorating in the past year or so
she today went to her doctor and he told her that her liver is failing and she will need a liver transplant. We are unsure if she will be a candidate for this as her lupus is the cause of her liver failure
MY bil just called up DH crying saying he thinks she is going to die soon
Just to share, my Aunt has Lupus and was getting really sick and went into liver failure. She WAS a candidate for a transplant even though it was caused by her lupus. She had the transplant done a few years ago and is doing 110% better!
