Is her brain not fully formed or does she need a stint put in to drain fluid (like hydrocephaly?)
I know about stints put in the head to drain the fluids.
I think she means shunt? That's what's used to drain excessive fluid from the brain to the abdominal cavity. A stent has something more to do with cardiac issues. It's just something that keeps a blood vessel open to allow adequate blood flow.
