My prayers are with your nephew and sister. My son went through a similar thing at 24 days old. He had RSV. He was also intibated and rushed to another hospital. He was so small and frail. 6lbs 3 oz when he was sick. I know from experience how scary this all is. He was in the hospital for 7 days. THen at 4 months he was back in with croup and bronchitis. He is now a very strong and healthy 7 yr old boy. All the best and hopes of him feeling better. All my sympethies to you and your family.
Prayers are working!!!! They are slowly taking him off of the drugs and plan to pull the tube out tomorrow, hopefully he will breathe on his own, they will watch him for 24 hours and if all goes well, then he will be moved to a better room and I think out of ICU. So thsi is HUGE news...and a huge relief!!! THANK YOU everyone for your prayers~
THANK YOU!!!! My sweet little beautiful nephew came home today!!!! Its so wonderful, he is smiling and happy although he has been through hell and almost died!!! We are all beyond thrilled and thank you for your prayers,....I love you guys!!
