Prayers Please!!
I just got off the phone with my dad. My stepmother has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am sick to my stomach. I feel so bad for her and my dad. And I feel so helpless, being 1100 miles away as are all my stepbrothers and brother. Of course we all just want to head down there, but right now they have a lot going on with doctors and don't want us to come down. She has a lot of tests and procedures schedules for the next few days, which they'll learn more about what type of cancer she had. The doctors feel it is fairly new as her last mammography was a year ago, but they also feel it is an aggressive cancer. I am soo scared for them. Please keep them and our family in your prayers!

My aunt was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer - had chemo, radiation and a mastectomy...that was 15 years ago and she is fine today. Hang in there!

Thank you girls. Now, any ideas what I could send down to her. My first thought was flowers, but is there anything else I can send, something that might help to slightly take her mind of things??

This is VERY good news to hear!! I am hoping that with all the advances in technology that she will beat this!!
