My family is also very involved with the fire dept. and this is really such a tragedy. It just blows my mind how in one second so many lives are changed forever.
We are all for the recovery of these two men!

what i know is one is on a respirator and they are both in ICU.
i also found out that my brother was with them earlier and when they were going to 7-11, my brother decided to go home instead to go to sleep. I can't even imagine what those families are going through right now because it is hitting hard here being that the Fire Dept is like 1 big family.
I haven't heard anything else though.

And what the HELL is with people? I mean this girl is that dumb? Have we not DRILLED not drinking & driving into these kids heads?
I work in this neighborhood & have frequent dealings with the WI Fire Dept. They are all wonderful people & I pray for an easy & full recovery for both of them
ETA:
I had to run into Good Sam for something today.......and to see a bunch of the WIFD members hanging around as support to those families was a nice thing to see

I want to know why it matters that she is an honor roll student? what the hell, are her straight A's going to help the boys she hit?
I'm sorry, but she deserves severe punishment. And why in the world was she allowed to take the car out if she only had her learner's permit?
