pre-k and birthday parties and gifts-help!
My DD was already invited to 2 birthday parties for her classmates. She is in preschool. I have no idea what to give as a gift. I hardly know these boys.
What do you guys usually give and how much is appropriate to spend?

I just had the same situation. I gave $20 gift card to Toys R Us.

4yr olds?
Legos ROCK! I spend around $20. Walmart had a clearance on their toys and I picked up some cars and plane type lego sets. Got nothing yet for girls. Girls are a LOT harder. I generally end up at Marshalls buying something Melissa and Doug related.
