Birthday Parties & Gifts
Recently, we've been invited to a flood of first birthday parties. Some of the families I know well but most are neighborhood kids that we're just friendly with.
I haven't been to a kids' party in ages. What is an appropriate gift? How much should I spend?

Gift cards are the safest way to go. Toys R Us, Babies R Us, the Children's Place - anywhere that you know us parents like to shop for our children.

i agree gift cards are great... but i know some people dont like for the person to see the amount.
so i would say.. for first birthdays...
clothes are always good.
and PLEASE PLEASE include a gift receipt.
