Pre natal vitamans
Ok so what prenatals are you girls taking. My Doctor gave me a couple of different samples and so far they have all made me so sick (nausea felling).
I was taking One a day women's and i was feeling fine on those, would it be bad if i didn't take a pre natal and just kept taking the one a day women's??

I take Prenexa I would ask my dr. if regular vitamins are ok pp have said they haven't take prenatals for a while if not any so see what your dr. advices

Definitely try taking them at night. I take Citranatal with DHA and I take them at night. I started taking them at night during my first trimester when I felt nauseous all day, but still take them at night now.

Im on Nutrispire. I never got sick. The only issue is that you get bad breath when you burp. It is tolerable!

I take these: ONE A DAY Womens Prenatal Complete Prenatal Multivitamin Plus DHA,Tablets & Liqui-Gels. I am very happy with them and get them at Walgreens because that is the place I found them the cheapest.

I take Prenate.
My OB wanted me to take something with DHA in it. I have to take it on an empty stomach so I don't think this is an option for you.

I take the rainbow light ones you can get them at target. They are really gentle on my tummy. I take them at night before bed.

I take the ONE A DAY Womens Prenatal vitamin w. DHA
They haven't given me any problems. I found them at Walmart.

I just got these for my son and decided to try them and they actually taste good! I am so excited because I havent been able to take any vitamins until now, I only take extra folic acid...

I've had the same problem as the OP - every prescription prenatal made me sick (and I do take them at night)
I reverted back to my Spring Valley ones from Walmart but I don't think that have DHA in them...
AM I DOING HARM TO MY BABY????

I take these as well. I tried a million different Rx samples, wound up forgetting which ones sat well with me and decided I probably couldn't trust myself to fill/refill a Rx, anyway.

I take Prenate DHA, they have a vanilla scent and taste. Does not make me sick...but I also take them at night. I think taking them at night is key.

Initially I was taking Flinstone's Complete but at my last appointment (16 weeks) my doc said I should really start taking real prenatals. She prescribed me a different chewable which was just nasty. So I bought this One A Day and I haven't felt sick at all. They give you two different pills in this package and although the size might scare you, they actually are really easy to go down.

I used to take ones without DHA... but my OB highly recommended DHA.
I got nausea, constipation, you name it with the meds.
Three things make it better:
1. Time. Yes, your body gets used to it.
2. Night time dosing (I take one WITH dinner).
3. Gel caps: I use the NatureMade brand from Whole foods. It's my favorite so far & goes down easy.

Ditto - I'm on the same ones and I take them at night too. I usually take all my vitamins at night because I just tolerate them better.

I didn't take the ones my Dr. gave me because they weren't covered by my insurance. Instead I take the Target brand Pre-natlas and an extra supplement of Folic Acid to get to the dosae in the one's given by the Dr.

Have you tried taking them with food?
I'm taking OB Complete 400- the only drawback is the fish burbs you get afterwards. NASTY!
If I take it with plenty of food though it keeps the burps at bay!

I take Prefera with DHA.
I leave them in my nightstand & take them when I get into bed. I've never gotten sick from them & I have a weak stomach.

My OB prescribed Neevo.....no nausea at all!!! As a matter of fact you're supposed to take it on an empty stomach and still it doesn't make me sick  I highly recommend it.
