Pre-school / separation classes
My DD is 2 and I have no clue what to do as far as preschool goes. I am in the Farmingdale area.
I am a SAHM and I don't know how she is going to be with me just putting her in a preschool program 2 days a week.
I was looking into separation classes to slowly separate her with me but aren't sure where to look??
Anyone have any input??
I appreciate it. TIA

Re: Pre-school / separation classes
The Presbyterian Church in Massapequa has a preschool program that offers slow seperation classes for toddlers.

Re: Pre-school / separation classes
MY DS will be going to Peanuts in Farmingdale in September for the 2 year old program. I have heard only great things about it, and they have really impressed me each time I've gone. And, it's not a ton of money either which is a bonus!

This on the top of my list to check out. Is your DS going for the 2 days a week? It shows on their website they also have a program called u and me for 18 months-3years. I just am not sure if I should just throw DD in a program all at once and not wean her in. KWIM? I am always with her and it will be hard. (Probably I guess more for me than her)

I am putting him in the 2yr old seperation class - two days a week (it's only two hours on those days)
I have seen the class a few times, the kids are all well adjusted. I know that Jack will def. love it. He loves being around kids, and I know for a fact that he learns more when I'm not around.
I was hesitant when I first started looking into seperation classes but my mind was at ease once I saw it in action.
I do believe (not positive) that the Tues/Thurs morning class is booked!

Thanks! I will check it out. I hope not all the sessions are booked though. I have heard good things about them. Did u call them or make an appt. to check them out?
