Pre-school prices...
I am looking into pre-school for Grace when I go on maternity leave since she will need some sort of stimulation outside of hanging with the baby and me.
Since LA and NY are similar in terms of cost, I figured I would ask here. I have one program that is for special eduation students but she would be enrolled as a typical peer for role modeling. She would get all the services without an EI or even needing them. BUT it costs $300 a month for 3 mornings a week from 8-11:30. This sounds kind of high to me, especially they need students like her to run their program.
So should I keep looking?

that seems alittle pricey to me
when I sent DD to preschool it was $150 mth and it was 12-3 3x a week

We pay $3305 each for the year (2nd week of Sept - 1st week of June). They go 3x a week for 2.5 hours a day.

I pay $127 a month for 2 days. That sounds like a lot to me.
My niece goes 5 days a week full days and it is $450 a month.

That sounds about right to me.
My friend pays $4K for full time pre-school in a catholic school. And he said that part-time was MORE expensive!!!!

The tuition at my DDs school is $500/ month this year for 4 days 1-4pm and it was $400 last year for 2 days 9-1130am

I actually think that's a pretty good price for 3 days a week.
We pay $500 a month for 4 days a week 4&1/2 hours a day. Part of that is after care so the rate for that is a bit less than the school part. DD goes to Monetssori, not sure if that makes a difference in pricing for preschools or not.

I pay $182 a month and my son goes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00-4:00.

My son goes M-W-Th for 3 hours and on Friday from 9-2 (considered full day). We pay app. $350 per month.

i pay $17O/month for 3 days a week fom 9 - 11:3O, it's co-op and parent participation is mandatory {including me being in the classroom hands-on one day a month}

wow, I pay a lot more!
DD goes 4x/week, 9-12 and it's somewhere around 530/month.
