Pre-schools in the Northport/Fort Salonga area??

I realize I'm totally late with this....but I keep meaning to sign Lily up for pre-school for next year...and I keep forgetting!
It also doesn't help that I can't really look in my area because my dad watches her during the week, so it makes more sense to look for a place near him!
So.....I figured I'd ask for recommendations on here....anyone know of a good school in the Northport/Fort Salonga area? maybe even Commack?

Oh....and what's the usual for a 3 year old who has never been in day care? Is there something I should be looking for? Avoiding?

Thanks!!!Chat Icon

There are a lot of good preschools in the area. We go to Northport Nursery and really like it. It's a co-op, so moms, dads or grandparents help out in classes once a month. They do have a non-participating option if you can't be part of the co-op. I have friends that send their kids to Village and they like it. Another friend is sending her daughter to Weekday next year. You should just check a couple of them out and see where you feel comfortable.
