I think the regular sudafed, and also I think benadryl is ok too. If you're not sure, call your doc again and/or ask the pharmacist. Hope you feel better! This weather doesn't help!

Re: Pregnancy and Allergies....

ugh, i'm a constant sufferer of allergies...of everything it seems. my doc said benedryl was ok to take, but i still have yet to take it.

what i have been doing is ice packs, tylenol and a headband around my head for the pressure. i have this thing about poppin pills all the time, esp. pregnant. but i can imagine the relief the benedryl will give....sooo nice. i might take it if it gets reeeeally bad. i mostly suffer now and try to sleep it off.

Re: Pregnancy and Allergies....

I take zyrtec. I have had allergies all summer, which normally I just have them in the Spring. I take a zyrtec at night before I go to bed and it last most of the next day.

Both my OB & my allergist told me Zyrtec and Claritin were fine to take, as long as it was the plain version without the D on it. My allergies have been crazy this pregnancy and claritin is a life saver!
