Pregnancy Jeans Question
I want to invest in designer jeans....Do you think i can buy them now (at 15 weeks), or should i wait till i get a little bigger. Since they aren't going to be cheap i want to make sure they'll fit through most of my pregnancy.

Re: Pregnancy Jeans Question
I bought a pair at 11 weeks and at 38 weeks they still fit. Actually they fit better now that the belly holds them up.

Just wondering, where did you get these jeans?

Re: Pregnancy Jeans Question
I didn't buy maternity pants until about 25 weeks, but they fit through the end (I actually needed to wear my bella band with them until about 32 weeks!)...I bought Citizens (same fit I wear non-pregnant) and loved them! I found a great selection at Mimi Maternity on 110 in Huntington.

Re: Pregnancy Jeans Question
Best purchase I made my entire pregnancy was a pair of designer seven jeans. I wore them all the time when i went out. I started wearing them at 11 weeks and wore them up until about 33 weeks (but i had two in there. They fit perfectly really until the very end.

Re: Pregnancy Jeans Question
Nordstrom carries some...online anyway. (I haven't been within the retail store in a long time.)
If you don't want to pay retail, Time-of-my-Life on Ebay sells designer maternity jeans. Their prices aren't super low, but they are authentic jeans. (I believe they convert them into maternity.) If you already wear designer denim and know your size, it might be worth looking at. Just make sure you read the description fully b/c sometimes the jeans have minor flaw, while others are fine.

Re: Pregnancy Jeans Question
Honestly there is no way this would have worked for me. I started showing about 16 or 17 weeks, but now at 37 weeks very few of my pants fit right.
The jeans i have on now are a large yet the pants I wore until about 28 weeks were small or medium.
It all depends on how you show and how you progress.

That's where i got mine. The ones with the minor flaws are usually those that are auctioned and the perfect ones are usually the ones that are buy it nows. Either way you're still saving like $50-90 off the retail and I have lived in mine since I got them.
And I agree, I'm pretty sure they're converted b/c I see some brands that I don't believe make maternity jeans that they sell.
In answer to the original question, go for it now. I waited stupidly until about 18-19 weeks and wish I had gotten them sooner. I was ok in my jeans until about 16 weeks but was really pushing it those last 2 weeks. Order 1 size up from your normal prepregnancy size.

Mine are not designer - I bought them at Kohls, but they are by far one of my best maternity clothes purchases.

Re: Pregnancy Jeans Question
My friend gave me a pair of designer jeans that I have been wearing since week 14. They are so comfortable, but are getting a little snug (I'm about 28 weeks). They are super flattering! They are J-Brand jeans (Mamma J).
Is it so wrong to wear maternity jeans even after makes her debut? I love them!
