Pregnancy questions...

Two questions..one- what is the best website (besides this one!) for pregnancy in your opinion? There seem to be so many! Second, is there any medication that is safe to take for my sore throat? Thanks.

I don't really use any websites for pregnancy because my dr. advised to steer clear of them because there are so many with misinformation.
As far as your sore throat goes...how far along are you? You can definitely take tylenol, that will at least help the pain. I had a terrible cold around 12 weeks and my dr. told me tylenol cold was fine then.

Thanks for your help. I am only 4 weeks along, and I do have Tylenol in the house, so I'll take that. I started to use a throat spray, and then I read on it, "ask a doctor if pregnant" so I didn't want to use it. I am really nervous and excited and I have so much to learn. I will take your advice and avoid the websites, but are there any books you recommend? Thanks!

What to Expect When Expecting is pretty much the standard, but I know the Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy was good, too.

Definitely take some tylenol and maybe some tea with honey, that will definitely help soothe a sore throat. If you do want to look up some info on medications, you can try
