Pregnancy symptoms you were not warned about...
We all know about morning sickness, heartburn, acne, weird cravings... But what have you had that no one warned you about?
Me: congestion (mild), burning eyes, canker sores, gingivitis, round ligament pain
All of these have been mild, but irritating!

I think the books needs to really focus on, "Now that you're pregnant, you will be completely and utterly terrified for the next 9 mos that something could go wrong...."

for me, it was nasty leg cramps at about 4 am.
I got them with both girls, lucky, lucky me. And they were the worst part of being pregnant.

OK seriously.....it hasnt happened yet this time, but w/ DS, early on during the 1st trimester I would wake up in the middle of an O  . I swear to god! My OB said its actually fairly common but no one talks about it!

Gas. The bloat. The pain. Nobody ever told me about that.
The acne. Not so horrible to deal with, just annoying to have.

I knew swelling could become an issue, but thought it was during summer months or the last few weeks........not starting in month 5 over the winter and getting gradually worse!
Related to that.....I never heard of carpel tunnel as a pregnancy issue!
