pregnant 4mths post partum...

is this... possible?? i breastfeed but not exclusively.. more like as a comfort/supplement to the formula.. she nurses as a chaser to her 6oz bottle.and sometimes during the night... i had what seemed like a reg period earlier this month and according to mymonthlycycle and mycycle my period should have started Friday..

i guess my question really is this.. can u rely on that first post partum menstrual cycle to start calculating menstrual patterns?

You can definitely get pregnant 4 months PP. My sister and I are only 12.5 months apart. Did you take a test? I would call the dr. on Monday to schedule a test...good luck!

You can become pregnant without ever getting a period. I was nursing but at 6 months stopped night feedings. I had two cycles and became pregnany (still nursing). My due date and the sono where to date of my last period. I hope that answers your question.

I have a 6 month old--and exclusively breastfeed--well, other than the food we recently added...AND I am now pregnant with our second!

My first menstral happened 3 months in and the next one was 45 days later....after that they were regular.
