Pregnant and Bikini Wax - TMI
how long in advance do you stop shaving b4 going for your bikini wax
Asking b/c we're going to Aruba the end of Feb. I'm pregnant and find waxing easier, but it's been a while since I did it. Anyway, not sure if it's b/c I'm pregnant, but it's growing in fast I don't know if I can make it till end of Feb b4. Between my belly and this I feel so gross!
Sorry for the TMI

Re: Pregnant and Bikini Wax - TMI
I am having the exact same problem and also travelling at the end of Feb . At this point, I think I am just going to wait, but I have gone back and forth about going this week. I wouldn't go much later than that if you want to go again at the end of Feb.

Ugh... think I'm going to wait too. I don't have time during the week between work and picking up my toddler. Weekends are busy. Plus, don't feel like spending tons of money on waxing this month when I usually do it in the summer

Re: Pregnant and Bikini Wax - TMI
I would go this week and then again right before you leave. I go to Rainbow nails on Union Hill across from Pastoso. I also get my nails done there. A regular wax is I think $17 or $20. If you can get there maybe after work and see Joy with the glasses (I think there are 2 Joy's there). I think she is the quickest. I think she only works M,W,F,Sat., they are closed on Sundays. Sandie ( I think that is her name, last chair on the right) gives the BEST manicures, the regular polish can last at least 4 or 5 days with a dark color.

Oh, I'm not asking if it's safe. I did a few bikini waxes with first pregnancy. Just don't remember it growing in so much. Now I'm debating on waiting a few weeks or doing it now then a few weeks. LOL Ugh! Just annoying stuff

I'd wait it out. Maybe if anything, do a little "trim" if you want to be neat in the interm.

there's nothing wrong with a brazilian; i just got one two weeks ago. Just go to a reputable place.
to the OP, I would wait, but it depends on how fast your hair is growing I think. I would just rather not have to go twice in one month.
