Pregnant crasher prob TMI cervix question from BTDT moms
Can anyone describe how their cervix felt during pregnancy? I use to check CP all the time while TTC to determine O. I haven't checked it since I got my BFP & for some reason did today in the shower. It felt really soft, kinda more open then I thought (i guess like a dimple), and the surface was a little rough. Is this normal I am 15 weeks Monday. It just made me kinda panic b/c I always thought it would be really hard for some reason. Also we BD this morning before I checked if that makes a difference.
I posted on the preggo boards & no responses. Kinda worried about it. Any advice from moms who have BTDT?
TIA

I can honestly tell you that thought out both of my pregnancies never did I even once check my cervix! Why do you? I completely understand why you did it when you were TTCing but why now?
If you feel that there is something to be concerned about you should probably contact you OBGYN. I might be old-fashioned, but I would't poke around in there at this point!
Also, I am sure you can google something like How should cervix feel at 15 weeks pregnant or something like that, but i am not sure how informative that would be!

Thanks. Why I checked I have no idea. I haven't up until this point, and believe me no more poking for me. I just made myself paranoid for no reason. I did the google thing but didn't find much. I will check with my OB at my next appt. I haven't been having any symptoms of any issues. Guess it is just still lingering worries from the 1st tri.
