pregnant bridesmaid - third tri especially
Just curious... were you a pregnant bridesmaid? If so, what was your experience like? (especially if you were 3rd tri)
I have a few weddings coming up next year and am wondering how a BFP would affect that

my best friend got married July 4th and i had my DS Aug 15th so i was definitely pregnant.
since she has a larger sized sister, the dress was somewhat ok, and we were allowed any kind of shoes as long as they were silver, so i worse silver flip flops (but the nicer kind)
since DH was a reader at the wedding, he drove so instead of riding in the bus with the bridal party (total of 28 people) i rode with my DH

I was a MOH for my BF wedding. Her wedding was 9/12, I was due 9/29....well my water broke at the hair salon so I never made it.

i was a bridesmaid July 5th and had my son july 20th. i wore a comfy dress and flip flops so it was fine

I was MOH in my BFF's wedding on 10/8 and my DD was born 10/31. I do not regret it all. Just took the heels off after pictures and introductions.

I was around 30 weeks pregnant for my sisters wedding. I was pretty big. It was June and hot, but not horrible. I had a blast. no complaints and would do it again in a heartbeat. For heavens sake, I was pregnant, not dying. I was still perfectly capable of walking down an aisle and standing up for pictures  .
I had to rest more than usual during dancing, when we were doing the twist my Uncle had to had me back up off the floor...LOL.
As for the dress, I was not pregnant when we ordered. I did have to order a second dress, a maternity one, similar to the style of her girls. However, that depends on the dress, some are easier to alter than others. My MOH was 8 months pregnant at my wedding...again, not pregnant when we ordered the dresses. They were able to add panels into the side of the dress she ordered (in like a 4 or 6!) and make it fit her and she looked great!

Don't regret it but it was a tough day and I left the wedding RIGHT after the cake.

wow, good to hear. If we get a BFP in the next few months I'll be a third-tri bridesmaid and I was worrying..

i was a preggo bm in my bil's wedding at 32 weeks.... i did it & it was brutal!!
i was supossed to be a 39 week preggo bm in my friends wedding this saturday, but after going through what i went through at 32 weeks, i dropped out
not that it matters now bc ds came 5 1/2 weeks early lol

The only way i would be a bridesmaid in my thrid trimester is if it was myy sister. knowone else. Who knows what will happen? Being uncomfortable in general the thrid trimester but to be in a wedding too??? dunno jmo
