pregnant with allergies, anyone else?
I had my specialist write me a prescription for Zurtec b/c I started last week with the consecutive sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes.
Anyone else have outdoor allergies( hayfever) and may need to take medicine?
I am a little nervous to take them and will only do so on those BAD days.
Anyone else in the same boat?

Re: pregnant with allergies, anyone else?
I have them and have noticed that I am sneezing my head off the last couple of days and now my nose is following suit with the stuffiness, it stinks...I don't want to take anything so I will put up with it until my ears start in, then I will call the doc.

I have seasonal allergies too, it's killing me already, my eyes, nose and sneezing, and double the congestion.
My doc ok'd zyrtec too, but like you i only take it when i really have too, i also take benadryl.
I am not a meds person at all, even if i wasn't pg, i won't even take tylenol unless i really really really need it.

Re: pregnant with allergies, anyone else?
thanks ladies, I am not going to take them UNLESS it's those days where you can't even function.
I love the months of Apr- Oct but that is the WORST time for my allergies.

I have indoor and outdoor allergies. I also take Zyrtec, but only when I am having a really bad day.

Oh Lordy they are killing me!!!!!! I take Benadryl when I need it. The doctor okayed Claritin for me when I visit my MIL and the cats. I've only visited twice though in 20 weeks.

I am allowed to take claritan.
I just had a really bad sinus infection and the doctor gave me amoxicillan which did nothing so she told me to go to an Ears Nose and Thorat doctor they told me to take mucinex, gave me nasonex and gave me amoxicillan with something else and it was all okayed by my gyn once I took a full dose of the medication I am 100% better

Re: pregnant with allergies, anyone else?
I have terrible allergies and the past few days have been difficult. I have not taken anything so far. I do not know what to do. When I do not take something during the season, I get sinus infections. So, I should take something to prevent that, right?
