When we first started TTCing, I took them. But I was TTCing for so long and they were horse pills so I stopped taking them. Eventually I bought the gummies and started taking them again if I remembered.

I went for my annual checkup in May and I told the doctor of our plans to start TTC. She had me start them right away. She suggested taking them 3 months prior to build up iron and DHA levels.

Ideally, you want to be taking prenatals 3 months before you get pregnant. Obviously you never know when you'll get pg, but it really can't hurt to be taking them. So if you're thinking of TTC, best to start taking them.
