Prenatals making me sick :(
I was never one to be able to take any kind of hard pill...
always had to be a gelcap...
Any suggestions as to what I can do? I got very sick this morning infront of co workers...

Take it at night, right before bed, with a small snack. They make me SO nauseous if I take them in the morning!

I was about to say the same.
Hope this helps
If not talk to you doc about a different prenatal sometimes it's a matter of finding the right one for you.

I agree that you should take it at night. If that doesn't work ask your OB about the chewable Flinstones vitamins.
They also have gelcap prenatals. Ask your OB. I think I had some called PreNexa.

I do the same thing...right before bed and sometimes taking them with a glass of milk helps too

I could only digest the chewable/gummy ones BEFORE i was preggo...
I dont know what made me think I could take them now..
Tried after dinner- got sick
Tried in the after noon- got sick
Tried in the morning- got sick
Wow, i'm a loser!! 
I guess i'll have to rush the doctors appt then...

Prenatals make me sick too...no matter what time of day I take them.
I bought the gummy kids vitamins and extra folic acid supplement and they still bother my stomach. So I take them when I can.

I learned the hard way that you should never take ANY vitamin (Prenatal or not) on an empty stomach.
Especially if it has zinc.
Zinc will make you puke .
I take all my vitamins with dinner...

I take a soft gel prenatal maybe you can ask your dr. to change your prescription to a soft gel

I couldn't take them either... I take the chewable flintstones... Doctor says they are perfectly fine. The only other supplements I may need is Iron only because I am slightly anemic.
