Preschool Teacher Gift Question
So we got a letter from the class mom that she was collecting $15 from each of us (if we wanted to participate) to buy a gift card for each of the three teachers - 1 main and 2 helpers. Plus a little token gift to go along with it.
I would think this would satisfy our school Christmas gift giving, but then why do I *still* feel like I should be doing doing something from just DS and I????
Thoughts?

Re: Preschool Teacher Gift Question
I'm a teacher & this is my first year in a school that also collects $10 from each parent for my gift/the asst. I asked what usually happens re: gifts (from another teacher) & she told me that a lot of the parents also give you their own gift...a gift card or stationery or something else.
I don't think its necessary; go with what you feel is right.

Re: Preschool Teacher Gift Question
What if you had ds make a card for the teacher? I'm going to do that.
You could also bake cookies and send them in.

Re: Preschool Teacher Gift Question
Whatever I contribute is the gift. But, I like Cathy's idea of making a card or cookies.
