Present for my nieces
2 part question.
I don't know if you guys remember, but I posted tire swings awhile back that Leo wanted to buy for his 3 yr old and 1 year old nieces, who don't have a tree in their backyard.
So we are out the other night, and he says he won't get them the swings this year, I said do whatever you want, they are your nieces if you want to get them its fine.
He said I have to stop saying your neices, that they are mine too. But truthfully, isn't their a huge difference between your siblings kids and his siblings kids?
okay part 2. I was at home goods, and found the greatest Christmas bedding. It is so cute. so I spent over a hundred on each girl with sheets and shams and quilts.
I sent it out yesterday. Would you hate it if someone sent you holiday bedding? My sister said she would. The girls' rooms are already decorated with themes, and it does match the walls, but to just change it up for a few weeks I don't think is asking a lot.....these kids have everything, so I wanted to try and get them something they could use every year. Would you hate to change your kids bedding?

Re: Present for my nieces
IMO, I would hate receiving something that I can only use for 1-2 months out of the year

Re: Present for my nieces
but you use it every year. It seemed like such a great idea. I always want Christmas bedding, but never have the extra money to justify it.
If you received it, would you use it? Or hate that you have to take your regular bedding off?
TIA

Re: Present for my nieces
I LOVE the holiday season, and when I was little, we always changed our bedding for the holiday season. We'd make the switch to the holiday set the day before thanksgiving, and wouldn't change it til my bday (feb 12th).
I think it's a GREAT gift.

thanks for the reassurance, 250.00 later, and 18.00 to ship, having second thoughts is a horror.
thanks for response, SIL is not the type that would forget it was there, but she is the type to hate that it won't match their princess/pooh rooms.
