Private vs Public Schools
I have an interview on Tuesday with a catholic regional school.
What are the differences between a private and a public school?
Pros? Cons?

Many private schools are not part of the NYS Teachers Retirement System and the years worked in private schools won't count towards retirement.

definitely $$$$$$ - I want to say you will probably start in the low-30's max.
And you can spend a ton of years in the Catholic school system, and not 1 day of it will transfer into the NYS Retirement system if you end up in the public school system.
