Product Rave - For shaving legs and anywhere else...
I found this amazing shower oil over the weekend. As soon as I tried it out I was like, OMG I have to post about this.
I was in L'Occitane and asked if they have anything to make my legs unbelievably smooth - during/after shaving. So, the clerk recommended the shower/bath oil. I said, oil? She explained that it is an oil but when you put just a little in your hand, in the shower, it lathers up and becomes foamy. So, then you apply that and shave with it.
I tried it that evening and HOLY MOLY. A tiny bit really goes a long way because of how it foams up and it makes your legs so smooth - it is the only thing I have ever shaved with that does not irritate my legs. No bumps, no cuts, and completely smooth legs. It is the best product everrrrrrr. The lady in the store told me that it is addicting and that all the women who work there, that it is their favorite product. I bought the larger bottle and then they have a very large, in a pouch, refill that I'll buy from now on and refill the original bottle with.
Obviously, this can be used for your bikini area as well - I just get waxed so I wouldn't know but I imagine it would be fantastic for that too. The underarms are SO good with it!

Thank you!! I have to try this. I have gotten bumps, rashes, etc. ever since I started shaving. Nothing has ever worked.

This is a great product (it's not oily like you might think) but I haven't tried it for shaving. I'm going to have to do that!

Pretty sure all of your significant other's would form a mutiny and stone me to death LOL!
YESTERDAY I went to the Off Saks store in Deer Park Outlets and they had John Hardy statement rings and Judith Ripka earrings for 50% off the lowest markdown price... One pair was originally $650 and with all the markdowns came out to $180!!!
So, yeah, dangerous

I went to L'Occitane yesterday to test this out, the woman had me wash my hands with it. I didn't notice a huge difference in softness (though I do use lotion obsessively) but I could NOT stop smelling my hands! It was soo delicious. I am going to try to pick up the small bottle - they only had the large one in store.

Remember to put some in the palm of your hand, let the water hit it, in the shower, and then let it lather up -- by rubbing your hands together and then applying it to your leg. A thin layer, is all. But keep putting that water on it and rubbing, so it'll lather. Just when I think that is it, I need to get more, it lathers up again!
And yes the smell is divine.
For me, when I washed my hands with it, yes, it made them a little softer but I wasn't knocked over. It was when I shaved with it -- and used it in a shower, with warm water, and the razor, that my legs after were unbelievably smooth and it helped the shave factor as well.

Ok, so I used it this weekend and while I didn't really notice my legs any softer...I have to say the bumps I used to get from shaving by my bikini area are about 80% gone. So, this definitely gets my thumbs up. Thanks for recommending.
ETS: So, I guess I was wrong. DH and I were talking last night and he saw the bottle of the oil and said what's that? So, I said - oh, that's my new shaving cream. And he was like - oh, so THAT's why your legs were super silky yesterday. Hubba Hubba,
