Product Rave for mommies with DC who have ezcema!
Burts Bee's Baby Bee Wash & Shampoo!
Gracie had eczema since she was 3 weeks old. I started using this shampoo about 2 weeks ago. and her eczema is GONE! No pills, creams, etc. just this! We tried EVERYTHING, prescription lotions and every kind of shampoo under the sun (California baby, Aveeno) and (Huggies, Johnson & Johnson only for a few weeks). I am so excited!!! Her skin is so smooth and I love the smell of the Burt Bee's. Plus it has no parabens in it or anything harmful! I had to share knowing that some of the moms on here have kiddies with eczema.

Where did you get it?
I give DD baths twice a week and she still breaks out, especially on her arms, legs and face

I could not hurt to try it! They have a line for adults & you can order their stuff online if you can't find it anywhere:

Thanks! I've been using Mustela products but they are hard to find and DS's legs are still rough. I will try Burts!

Re: Product Rave for mommies with DC who have ezcema!
I JUST WENT TO THE DOCTOR TODAY BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER AGAIN HAD A HIGH FEVER SO I MENTIONED HER DRY SKIN TO HER WHICH IS ON THE BACK OF HER ARMS AND LEGS, AND SHE ALSO SAID IT WAS ECZEMA. SHE RECOMMENDED DOVE WASH AND AQUAPHOR FOR TEH CREAM, WELL SEE. IF NOT HERE I COME BURT'S.

Their diaper ointment also works like a charm! And the Apricot Baby Oil smells so GOOD! I used it on Genevieve, and found it yesterday, and I put some on Billy's head to help prevent cradle cap, and I cant stop smelling him! He smells like CANDY! YUM!

Re: Product Rave for mommies with DC who have ezcema!
We just started using this with Kevin after reading about the bad stuff in Johnson's baby wash. I like it but I find that it doesn't rinse out of his hair as easily as other shampoos.

We use California Baby - Super Sensitive baby wash/shampoo but I LOVE Burt's Bees Baby lotion. They smell scrumptious!

WHAT IS IN JOHNSON BABY WASH?
There was this big to-do a couple of weeks ago about the chemicals in J&J baby washes - could be carcinogens. I'm not sure of the validity but I switched more because the J&J stuff dries my boys skin too much.

Re: Product Rave for mommies with DC who have ezcema!
Not to hijack but after reading this I'm curious. What is eczema? how do you know if DC has it? DD has some weirdly dry areas but our Dr. just told me it's b/c she's a rubber. She rubs her feet and legs together. So I didn't worry about it. But it's still like that. I thought eczema was serious. I pictured like a break out or rash kind of a thing, but now I'm wondering if I've got the wrong idea.
