Product Review - Clarisonic Plus for Face and Body

So for over a year now I've been dying to get the Clarisonic machine. I was at the price and just didn't have the extra money to pay for it. This past Sunday QVC had EVERYTHING available for purchase with 5 easy monthly payments, and they have the new Clarisonic PLUS machine for face and body, so I bit the bullet. I figure I can just make SURE to bring lunch every day for the next 5 months instead of just some days

I ordered it Sunday NIGHT (like 11pm) and it arrived yesterday (Wednesday). The Clarisonic came with the sensitive brush head and the body brush head, and 4 small sizes (about 2 oz each) of three different cleansers and the body polish. Also, QVC includes a full size face cleanser and a full size body polish, and two more brush heads (the delicate brush and the normal brush). From what I have found online, this seems to be the most bang for your buck since they include the extra brush heads (normally about $25 each) and the two full size cleansers/polish.

I charged the handle overnight. This morning I washed my face as I usually do so that I could take some "before" pictures. Then I got in the shower and used the Clarisonic on my face only (I was in a rush). I LOVE that it's waterproof so I can use it in the shower. It beeps to tell you when to move to the next area of your face (so it's 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 seconds for nose and chin, and 10 seconds for each cheek - total of one minute). I used the Clarisonic cleanser that came with it. It went VERY quickly and then I rinsed my face - I noticed that it felt "tighter" and smoother. Might be the cleanser? Afterwards I took some "after" pics before I applied my moisturizer. After I upload them to my computer, I'll try to post them on this thread.

After just ONE use, my face looks less oily today. Usually after a few hours I have the shine on my forehead and cheeks and I just checked the mirror and so far so good. I think I'll take some more "after" shots after using it for a week or so to see if there's any marked difference. But I DO like how my face feels today.

I KNEW IT I replied to your other post about recent purchases and said you would LOVE it. I have been using at for over 2 years now and i am so in LOVE . I got it as a Christmas gift from the mom of one of the kids I used to babysit and it was THE best gift EVER (don't tell my DH ) I only used the cleanser that came with it until I ran out, after that I have been using my own cleanser and it's fine, works just as well enjoy it

I've never heard of this before but I just googled it and it looks interesting.

I have very oily skin and large pores and would consider it if I knew it worked.

If you have used Buf-puf, how do you think it compares? I don't really want to spend a lot of money on this.

Update to say - I don't have pics but I am very happy with the results! I have not broken out during the usual times I would have normally broken out and my skin also feels very smooth (the Clarisonic is not an exfoliater, it's a cleanser, but I have found that it does help get rid of that dull look)!

I have been dying to buy the Clarsonic forever and I I think I will treat myself as soon as I get some extra $. I am almost done christmas shopping, so hopefully, i can make that splurge soon!

I got mine from QVC too. I would definitely open it and try it to see how you like it for, say, 2 weeks.

I was very happy with mine. I actually recently stopped using it because I got pregnant and my hormones are COMPLETELY out of wack. I now have teenager like acne around my hairline and lots of little ones around my chin and lower cheek. Painful acne I'm going to ask my doctor if there's anything I can use for it and if there is, I'll keep using my Clarisonic!
