Professional pics ??

Leah is 11 weeks old and I made an appointment at Picture People at the mall to have some nice pics done. The place said they don't have any "props" for babies this young and they would just do pics of her in cute outfits.

Is this worth me doing or can I just do something like that myself? Would it be better to wait until she is older and I can get some nice summer theme pics?

Any advice is appreciated - TIA!

i did pics at PP around 11 weeks old there.

They came out wondeful. They put her on a bean bag chair and then put a pink blanket behind her.
We took xmas pics there too, and even with the props and DD being 7 months old she still looked soo tiny compared to the props.

Here they are. DD is about 10-11 weeks old.

If they dont use any props its probably easier for you to take the pic's yourself.

I take Julia to KK and they have chairs and lots of prop's for all ages. The pic's come out adorable too!

There's not much you can do with an 11 week old baby in terms of photos. The only thing you really do is change the background.

If it's an either/or situation, the best time for photos is from when they can sit up or start to crawl IMO.

I would try to take them yourself & see what you can get. If you're not happy with those, than go to PP.

I had DS's taken at Sears when he was about 12 weeks. He was lying on a white fuzzy thing with a white blanket up to his shoulders and a his head was on a white pillow. It turned out really nice.

Hannah had her Valentine's Day photos at PP on the white bean bag. They came out really cute, but I liked the one's my friend took at her house with her digital camera better. (She's not a photographer)
