Progesterone and some other questions
What were your side effects and what kind was it? I'm on crinone.
Also my ovaries hurt quite a bit when I triggered this time. I triggered Friday AM and the pain was Saturday late afternoon into night. They still feel sore on occassion. Why is that and do you think its normal.
Ok, and a 3rd question....when does implantation "normally" occur? I thought anywhere from 6-10 dpo.....don't know if I read that or just made it up LOL!!!
TIA lovely ladies

Re: Progesterone and some other questions
Yep, days 6-8. I think it is normal to be sore afterward. The progesterone makes me really constipated.

Re: Progesterone and some other questions
For me, the side effects of progesterone are the same as my usual pms. Sore boobs, fatigue, generally feeling yucky.
As for the ovaries, I usually feel crampy (little twinges here and there) until after transfer. It takes a few days. And I think those days you listed for implantation are right.
Have you started using the other suppositories yet? You start those after transfer...I think they're estrogen and progesterone. They are grossss! I use it right before bed, and 7 hours later, I still feel like tons of stuff is oozing out of me (tmi, sorry). Still better than the IM progesterone shots.

Re: Progesterone and some other questions
The progesterone make me feel yucky....headaches, sore boobs, fatigue and lately I have been feeling out of breath...I did some research and I think it is from the progesterone also. I am on two kinds....the crinone gel and the prog/estrogen supp.

Re: Progesterone and some other questions
The Crinone actually had teh reverse affect on me than on everyone else...I was the opposite of constipated But who knows, I was on such a barrage of medication, it could have been the prednisone.
But any form of progesterone is evil, it gives you all the pregnancy symptoms like lots of peeing and sore boobs.
and implantation does occur usually within 6-10DPT, but it can also depend on if you did a day 3 or day 5 transfer and they can also implant late! And it also can depend on how "developed" the embies were when they were transferred!
Lots of luck to you

Re: Progesterone and some other questions
Thanks so much ladies. Although I have a list of "issues" we are not doing IVF we did timed intercourse. We just aren't there yet and quite frankly (no offense) hope to never have to do IVF. 1 - bc I hope I get pregnant this cycle and 2- bc our insurance doesn't cover IVF AT ALL!!! So far the crinone is treating me ok.....I'm really bloated and the boobies are getting big and sore plus some mild cramping. I know it can mimic PG or PMS symptoms which only makes the 2ww that much easier....NOT!

These were my symptoms exactly. I don't want to scare you but the worst was before AF came...the cramping was horrendous it woke me up in the middle of the night.
