Re: progesterone level question

Its not bad. Not great but def. enough to support a pregnancy. Have you asked your doc abour Clomid? To get some info google Clomid and Luteal phase defect. He should also be testing your estrogen around O time because your whole cycle is related.

If your follicles don't get big enough, enough estrogen will not be produced affecting your lining and the efficiency of the corpus luteum(the shell left after your egg is released that helps to rpoduce progesterone until about 12-14 weeks) Also your progesterone will not get high enough after O. I had the same issue. After O my progesterone was usually between 6-8. Afyter Clomid(whihc bumped up my ovulation) it was 21.4. I am on 50 mg from CD 5-9. last cycle I did not get PG. This cycle I'm hoping...I have bloodwork on Fri to confirm O and a hcg test next Friday...

Sorry so long...HTH

I had mine drawn at 4dpo - which was CD21 for me. My level was 13.4 which my dr said was ok. They look for greater than 10. If you are on supplements, I *think* they look for greater than 15.

Re: progesterone level question

Clomid did the trick for me. I also had low progesterone. DS is about to be 5 months. Good luck!

I think you are supposed to be going at 7 dpo regardless of O date. The CD 21 is a day used for women who O on CD 14. Double check with your doc?
