Progesterone Supplements - Please excuse my ignorance
I just got the bottle and the pills look like they are regular capsules you take by mouth. Is that how anybody else's looks? I am just wondering if the pharmacy gave me an oral prescription by mistake.

I was on the supplements at the beginning on my pregnancy. They look like pills because you can take them orally or as a suppository. Don't worry, they melt and will be absorbed.

It isn't horrible. Just make sure to wear a panty liner. Otherwise you will have to replace every pair you own.

I had suppositories, they were like little bullets of cream I had to put up there. But I have heard of using pills vaginally as well.

They are capsules...I didn't realize you can take them orally! Did they give you an applicator? If not, you can buy a tube of Monistat or something and use the one they give you in there.
And I agree, wear a pantyliner.

You can reuse the applicator, just wash it in warm soapy water after each use. The things we do to ourselves!

You don't really need the applicator - I actually hated it - although I am a little crazy and bought a box of gloves and used a glove every time and wet the gloved finger - hey whatever works for you -
It just becomes habit but since I was doing it 4xs a day I always felt like I was watching the clock to make sure I didn't forget to do it

Yes, I reuse the applicator -- just wash it out. I was nervous about putting the progesterone "up there" without it. I felt like I wasn't going far enough!

Oh, I hear that...I just saw another poster say that you can take them orally and I had no idea! I would like that idea soooo much better!
