Prometrium 200MG/Progesterone

So my RE has started me on Vaginal Progesterone but the pills say "Do not take if Pregnant" (picked them up tonight)

***???? Do I start it or wait? The pharmacies close here at 6pm and the Doc isn't opened until 9am

Also its normal to have the oral pills and just insert them, correct? Now, I'm terrified my pharmacy messed up.

I'm just hoping that it has the pregnancy warning because they are normally for HRT therapies and the pharmacist ignored the whole "take 1 capsle vaginally every 8 hours after +USG" orders.

I'm not sure what the do not take if pregnant thing means...they are supposed to raise your progesterone and if you were doing IVF and got a positive beta you would have to keep taking them. I would just go ahead and take them...vaginally, of course and maybe call your Dr. in the morning just to double check.

you confused me by oral tablets taking vaginally. They should be suppositories????

But I agree with gerty you are supposed to take it if PG. call your pharmacy with these questions.

My update is that they said to conitue taking it that down here they give the oral pill as a suppository. It's whitish and oval shaped and that to ignore the pregnancy warning since I am under care of an RE.
