Prop taxes paid by bank?

We received something in the mail last week indicating that a copy of our prop taxes was sent to the bank so that our bank would pay..I still think my hubby and I should contact the bank just to make sure they received the bill.. what do you guys think? Obviously I am new to this.

I would call them up to make sure if you're concerned. I don't escrow my taxes. But I wouldn't want to have a year go by and then find out that they weren't paid.

DH called the bank to verify they received the tax bill. The bank had and they told us the date it would be paid.

He also checked that they paid our home owner's insurance policy, and they had the wrong address for state farm, so once that was resolved, they also paid the policy premium.
