Proud Mommy Moment
Last night we had Damien's parent/teacher conference. I have that horrible stomach virus but dragged myself to it with DH. Damien has a tendency to be very aggressive and not to great with listening to Mom and Dad so I feared the worst
He got a glowing review!!!!
His teacher said he is confident and caring and made a smooth transition to kindergarten (I was especially worried about this since he was in the day care I work at since he was 6 months old and was spoiled rotten by the staff) He is knows all his letters and knows 18 of the sounds they make (which she said is above average ) He is also doing great with his sight words and is starting to learn to read!!!! She also said he is excellent in math (which he gets from his Dad, certainly not me!!!)
She said he gets along with all his peers and everyone in his class likes him I was so thrilled to hear how well he is doing!!!

I know how you felt with the stomach virus, we had it yesterday and I felt like someone literally beat me up. We had to miss DD's nursery school xmas play
