provera question, please help
Update on my TTC situation. We have tried for two cycles now. I went for blood work two weeks ago and it showed I didn't ovulate. Then they re-did blood work last week and it showed I still didn't ovulate. They wanted to start me on Clomid but I felt it was WAY too early to start that. Then they said I will need to take Provera but I don't understand why. Can anyone tell me if they agree, disagree or tell me if they had a similar situation? My husband doesn't want me to take any medication to help until after a year. Is two cycles too early to take Provera or Clomid, or is it necessary?

Re: provera question, please help
If you didn't ovulate, you may not get AF. The provera should help bring on Af so that you can start a new cycle.
I don't think you should rush into taking clomid without thorough testing. There are reasons a woman may not ovulate ...(thyroid, insulin levels, testosterone levels, prolactin)....
What cd was the progesterone test taken ???? (the test to see if you ovulated).
Some people just ovulate really late....What cd are you ?
